Research Vessel Tiburon, Inc. in cooperation with
Subsea Research Company has just returned from a newly
discovered wreck in Florida waters. Our
team of closed circuit rebreather divers were the
first humans to touch the ship's deck in hundreds of
years. Well beyond recreational diving limits
this site is perfect depth for trimix rebreathers.
Exploring and excavating this wreck will raise the
bench mark in underwater research. The wreck site
was video surveyed and a minimal amount of artifacts
were recovered for legal identification and
arresting of the site.
